Broadstone Soil types -

Central Broadstone is mostly clay loam soil, or silty clay, with numerous sandy patches particularly around the Golflinks area. Soil conditions in Broadstone can vary considerably, even between nearby properties. Imported topsoil, previous landscaping and years of cultivation can also mean that the soil in an individual garden differs substantially from the underlying natural soil.
